Day 01: Marrakech – High Atlas – Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou  – Valley of the Roses – Dades Valley

Our driver will pick you up at 8 a.m. at your Marrakech Riad / Hotel and depart for Dades Valley through the Tizi—N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. On the scenic drive from Marrakech to Dades Valley, you will enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colors and a Berber village along the way. You will have free time to visit the UNESCO Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and the Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, and to have lunch.

Afterward, you go further southeast to the verdant Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses via the fascinating Skoura Palms grove—dinner and overnight in a hotel in Dades Valley.

Day 02: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, there is time to walk by the Valley before continuing to Todra Valley, which is very different. Lunch will be here in the gorges or later on the way to the Erg Chebbi dunes. We drive there via the Tafilalte Valley and the villages of Tinjdad and Erfoud. In the afternoon, you will have the adventure of a one-hour camel trek in the Sahara Desert. We will pause to see the spectacular sunset from the top of the dunes. Overnight in a luxury Berber camp.

Day 03: Merzouga Desert – Middle Atlas Mountains – Fez

We will wake you early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast before riding a camel across the Erg Chebbi. Our driver will pick you up and start driving through the province of Errachidia via Erfoud to the Ziz Valley and Gorges. We will take a break for some pictures. Lunch will be at Midelt. Through hills covered in forests of cork oak and giant cedar, you will have an opportunity to see the Barbary apes, one of the only native monkeys of the Atlas Mountains. 
Our journey continues toward Ifrane and the Middle Atlas before arriving in Fes. We will spend the night in a riad in Fes El Bali.

Day 04: Guided tour in Fes – Chefchaouen

Enjoy a half-day guided tour in Fes, the oldest of Morocco’s four “Imperial Cities.” The medieval city of Fes El Bali, the “Old Fes,” remains complete and is unspoiled. During your tour of this part of the town, you can visit the exotic Bou Inania Medersa, the Medina, and the Kairaouine Mosque, where you may take photos of the wonderful courtyard from the main gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris II.

After lunch, we will drive for 4 hours through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, a beautiful blue town on the hills of the Rif. You will have free time to explore its winding lanes and narrow alleys, home to numerous souks offering cuisine and artisan works—a night in Chefchaoun.

Day 05: Chefchaouen to Tangier

On our last day of the Morocco tour, you will have a free morning to explore the beautiful town of Chefchaouen before we drive you to Tangier. Depending on your return, we can visit the main attractions in Tangier, including Cape Spartel, and drop you off at your hotel, the airport, or the port.
