We depart from the Boumalne Dades for the Todra Gorges in the morning. We cross incredible landscapes and stop in villages such as Tinjdad and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, we will ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes for approximately one and a half hours. We will pause to enjoy the breathtaking sunset before we reach our nomad desert camp in the dunes.
We will enjoy traditional Moroccan tea and a delicious dinner, followed by an evening of music from the local desert Berbers. You will spend the night in a comfortable desert camp under the stars.
After a breakfast with typical local homemade bread, we leave this gorge of crazy rocks and continue along the Dades Valley to reach Kelaat M’gouna, the City of Roses. We’ll make a stop here so you can discover the products made from the precious Damascus Roses that grow in these beautiful valleys.
Next, we head to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. After lunch, we visit the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for many blockbuster movies. This fortified Kasbah is one of the largest and most impressive in all of Morocco.
We then continue our tour up through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the highest drivable mountain pass in Morocco: Tizi n’Tichka, which reaches an altitude of 2,260 meters. The scenic road descends through Berber villages, fertile farmland, orchards, and rivers, eventually bringing us to the plains and the magical Medina of Marrakech.
Get ready for an unforgettable day in Marrakesh, where you'll dive deep into its vibrant cultural heritage.
