Day 2: Exploring the Blue Pearl – Chefchaouen Free Day

After breakfast, you will have a free day to explore the beautiful blue pearl of Chefchaouen. Discover the old Medina, known for its iconic blue-washed buildings, which will give you the feeling of walking in the sea. Next, we will visit the Kasbah Museum, built in the 18th century, surrounded by beautiful gardens and the Spanish mosque. Afterward, head to Plaza Uta el-Hammam, a charming square with many delightful local cafes. You will spend the night in Chefchaouen at the same riad or hotel.

3

After an escorted tour with a local guide, we continue to Meknes, another imperial city in Morocco.

Here, we will explore the Bab el Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then, we proceed to Fes, where you will be dropped off at your riad for the night.

Here, you may get lost in its labyrinthine alleys while visiting the famous University of Al-Quarraouine, the oldest degree-granting university in the world. We'll also visit the Bouanania Madrassa, the Chaouara tannery, the Nejjarine fountain, and explore the local souks and artisan area.

After lunch, we will visit the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), and the seven gates of the palace.

5

Day 5: Fes to Merzouga Desert – Middle Atlas & Ziz Valley

Our 7-day trip from Casablanca to the desert begins with breakfast, followed by our departure to the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will make a brief stop in Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Africa," where you can take in the stunning Alpine-like scenery. We then proceed to Azrou National Park, home to a magnificent cedar forest inhabited by friendly monkeys. The park is also a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts.

Next, we head to Midelt for lunch. This town is notable for its towering mountains at an altitude of 1,488 meters and serves as a gateway to the desert. After lunch, we continue our journey, passing through the beautiful Ziz Gorges and stopping to enjoy panoramic views of Berber villages and the Ziz Valley, famous for its dramatic landscapes.

Our journey continues to Erfoud, known for its rich history of fossils and minerals. From here, we head toward the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you will be welcomed with a glass of refreshing mint tea. Afterward, enjoy an unforgettable camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you can witness a stunning sunset. The day ends with a night spent in a traditional Berber camp, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and local Berber music around the campfire.

6

Day 6: Merzouga to Dades Valley – Todra Gorges & Desert Landscapes

We will wake you early to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes and have a hearty breakfast at the camp. The Todra River has carved a deep gorge through the mountains, creating striking red cliffs that stand tall around you. These gorges are popular with mountain climbers, and you will have the opportunity to explore the canyon and admire the spectacular landscape. We will stop for lunch along the way, soaking in the incredible views.

Next, we will head to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Here, we will visit the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations and take in panoramic views of the Dades Valley.
