Are you ready for an unforgettable 7-day tour from Casablanca? From the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque to the vibrant streets of Marrakech, this journey promises rich history, stunning landscapes, and unique cultural experiences. This 7-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech takes you through the charming blue-washed Chefchaouen, ancient Roman ruins, and the Fes Medina, one of Morocco's UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
You’ll also experience the golden sands of the Sahara Desert, where you'll enjoy a camel ride and spend a night in a luxury desert camp under the stars. Trust us, this is more than just a trip — it's a memory you'll cherish forever.
After meeting you at your hotel or the airport in Casablanca, we will start our 7-day Desert Tour from Casablanca. We will drive first to the Hassan II mosque and then to Rabat, where we will pass through many beautiful sites, including the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. We continue through the Rif Mountains to the Blue City of Chefchaouen, where we will overnight in a lovely riad in the Medina.
After breakfast, you will have a free day to explore the beautiful blue pearl of Chefchaouen. Discover the old Medina, known for its iconic blue-washed buildings, which will give you the feeling of walking in the sea. Next, we will visit the Kasbah Museum, built in the 18th century, surrounded by beautiful gardens and the Spanish mosque.
Afterward, head to Plaza Uta el-Hammam, a charming square with many delightful local cafes. You will spend the night in Chefchaouen at the same riad or hotel.
After breakfast, we depart Chefchaouen for Fes, passing through Ouazzane and Volubilis, where we will visit the Roman ruins. Upon arrival at Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will have the opportunity to see the stunning mosaic pillars and walls from the 3rd century BC. After an escorted tour with a local guide, we continue to Meknes, another imperial city in Morocco.
Here, we will explore the Bab el Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then, we proceed to Fes, where you will be dropped off at your riad for the night.
After breakfast, we will begin our tour of the spiritual city of Fes, starting with the Ancient Medina. Here, you may get lost in its labyrinthine alleys while visiting the famous University of Al-Quarraouine, the oldest degree-granting university in the world. We'll also visit the Bouanania Madrassa, the Chaouara tannery, the Nejjarine fountain, and explore the local souks and artisan area.
After lunch, we will visit the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), and the seven gates of the palace.
Our 7-day trip from Casablanca to the desert begins with breakfast, followed by our departure to the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will make a brief stop in Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Africa," where you can take in the stunning Alpine-like scenery. We then proceed to Azrou National Park, home to a magnificent cedar forest inhabited by friendly monkeys. The park is also a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts.
Next, we head to Midelt for lunch. This town is notable for its towering mountains at an altitude of 1,488 meters and serves as a gateway to the desert. After lunch, we continue our journey, passing through the beautiful Ziz Gorges and stopping to enjoy panoramic views of Berber villages and the Ziz Valley, famous for its dramatic landscapes.
Our journey continues to Erfoud, known for its rich history of fossils and minerals. From here, we head toward the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you will be welcomed with a glass of refreshing mint tea. Afterward, enjoy an unforgettable camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you can witness a stunning sunset. The day ends with a night spent in a traditional Berber camp, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and local Berber music around the campfire.
We will wake you early to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes and have a hearty breakfast at the camp. Afterward, we'll leave the desert behind and head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an essential economic hub in the region, home to the largest souk, bustling three days a week. We will pass through Rissani on our way to Erfoud, where we will visit one of the local petrified marble workshops.
Our journey continues towards the Todra Gorges, passing through the palm fields of Tinghir. The Todra River has carved a deep gorge through the mountains, creating striking red cliffs that stand tall around you. These gorges are popular with mountain climbers, and you will have the opportunity to explore the canyon and admire the spectacular landscape. We will stop for lunch along the way, soaking in the incredible views.
Next, we will head to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Here, we will visit the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations and take in panoramic views of the Dades Valley. After a day of exploration, we will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at a local hotel, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the valley.
After breakfast, we will depart from the Dades Gorges and head towards Kalaat M'gouna, the gateway to the famous Rose Valley. This scenic route, known as the Path of Thousand Kasbahs, offers some of the best photography opportunities in Morocco. The Rose Valley is unique, as it is the only place in Morocco where natural rose water is extracted for use in cosmetics and anti-wrinkle products.
Next, we will continue to Ouarzazate, also known as Moroccan Hollywood, passing through the beautiful Skoura palm grove. We will stop at the iconic Kasbah Amridil, a classic example of the stunning kasbah architecture of the region. From there, we will visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987, which has served as the backdrop for Hollywood films like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Mummy.
Finally, we will pass through Tizi N'Tichka, the highest pass in the Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2,260 meters. On the way, we will also make a stop to learn about the traditional process of making Argan oil. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, where the 7-day Morocco tour will end with a drop-off at your accommodation.
