We will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca and start our 6-Day Morocco Imperial Cities Tour by visiting the Hassan II Mosque. It has the tallest minaret in the world and is the third-largest mosque; it took 7 years to build and holds some 25,000 individuals. The craftsmanship is exquisite, with Zellig mosaics, ornately carved cedar wood, polished marble, and glass.
Then, we will depart for Rabat, the Moroccan capital. Upon arrival here, we will have a guided historical visit to the Udayas Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
From Rabat, we drive to Meknes, the capital of Morocco under the reign of sultan Moulay Ismail; after visiting the city, we drive to Fes, arrive in the evening, and stay overnight in a riad.
In the morning, we will visit the medina (Fes El Bali), the old city and its labyrinth of alleys. We will also see the Jewish Quarter, the Mellah, and the beautiful seven gates of the Royal Palace, the biggest in the country.
Then, we will see the famous tanneries, where all the leather is treated and dyed, then made into beautiful bags, shoes, and clothing. The Mosque and the University of al-Qarawiyyin are the oldest universities still in use in the world: Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts, Al Attarine Madrasa, and Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II.
After a tasty lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant in the medina, we will visit the Merenid tombs and drive out to the Borj, where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city. We will stay overnight in the same riad.
After a delicious breakfast in your Riad, you will explore Fes with a knowledgeable tour guide. You will visit the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloude), the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter, and the mullah. You will stop at a panoramic view of the Fes el-Bali (oldest Fes), then the pottery factory where craftsmanship speaks loudly with the beautiful ceramics.
After that, you will start the walking tour with your guide through the vibrant old Medina with its labyrinthine alleys, where you will visit the many hidden treasures that only the inhabitants know about. Fes served as Morocco's capital for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world. It also has alleyways, museums, Koranic Schools, tanneries, and a Souk.
After lunch, you will drive to Midelt through Ifrane, Morocco's Switzerland, and the Azrou cedar forest, where you will see Barbarian apes. You will stay overnight in Midelt, with overnight accommodation in a hotel, dinner, and breakfast.
We recommend an early morning start to experience the wonder of the sunrise. After a delicious breakfast and refresher, you will return by camel to the hotel, where you will meet your driver.
Our trip continues as we depart the desert for Rissani and Erfoud. We visit the workshops where marble and fossils are cleaned and crafted into outstanding projects. We drive to Tinghir and arrive in the Todra Gorge, where we will have lunch and explore this canyon with its 300-meter-high vertical walls and crystalline clear water as you walk along the river’s edge.

You will also see the still-standing 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Youl. We will stay overnight in a local hotel.

I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now. When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me
