Your driver-guide will pick you up at the scheduled time and meeting point to begin this exciting five-day itinerary in Morocco. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, where we will explore some of the city's captivating sights. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
Next, we will drive to Chefchaouen, Morocco's blue pearl. It is one of the top destinations to visit during your trip. We will arrive in Chefchaouen in the late afternoon, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in a luxurious accommodation.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the Riad, you'll have half a day to explore the charming town. Wander through its picturesque blue streets, capturing beautiful photos and picking up souvenirs.
After lunch, we will begin our journey to Fes. We will travel through the stunning Rif Mountains, noticing the changing landscapes. Our first stop will be the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you'll have one hour to explore this historic site.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Fes, where you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a lovely Riad in the old medina.
After breakfast at the Riad, we will continue our five-day Morocco itinerary by departing from the imperial city of Fes and heading towards the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Our first stop will be at the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can observe the Barbary apes.
Next, we will drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, taking a lunch break in Midelt. After lunch, we will continue to Ziz Valley, exploring its beautiful river. We will also stop in Erfoud to discover fossils and minerals.
Finally, we will arrive in Merzouga. Here, you will embark on a 1.5-hour camel trekking excursion over the sand dunes, where you can watch the sunset from above. After our trek, we will head to the camp, where you will be greeted with a cup of mint tea. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the evening, followed by a local celebration featuring drums and dancing around the campfire. You will also have the chance to stargaze in the dunes. You will spend the night in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga.
We highly recommend waking up early to enjoy a stunning sunrise and try sandboarding in the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, you can ride camels back to Merzouga or take a jeep if you prefer not to ride any more camels.
You also have the option to add an extra activity: an hour of ATV quad biking in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Once you arrive in Merzouga, you will meet your driver-guide and begin your journey to Dades Valley.
First, we will visit a traditional market in Rissani, and then we will drive to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where you can hike around the water for approximately 40 minutes.
Following the hike, we will stop for lunch before continuing to the Dades Valley. You will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a luxury riad in the heart of the valley and gorges.
On the final day of our 5-day itinerary in Morocco, we will begin our journey to Marrakech. We will drive through the Rose Valley and visit the historical Kasbah of Amridil.
Next, we will arrive in Ouarzazate, where you can explore the Kasbah of Taourirt and visit a film studio. Afterward, we will head to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where you will enjoy lunch and have the opportunity to visit this famous site with a local tour guide.
Following our visit, we will drive through the majestic Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which reaches an elevation of 2,260 meters. We will arrive in the red city of Marrakech in the late afternoon, concluding our fabulous five-day stay in Morocco. We will drop you off at the agreed-upon location, marking the end of our service.
